One of the best dining experiences we’ve had while we were in Manila. Lucky us, our airBNB is close to Eastwood Mall so Manam was a stone throw away. One of my most favourite restaurants now. Great food, and our server, Jean and France’s kindness and attentiveness really stood out. Everyone was very hospitable. We loved going here and we will surely be back.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Manam Eastwood were thoughtful and accommodating. Before placing our order, they kindly checked the ingredients of the dishes we chose to make sure they didn’t contain our child’s allergens. They were honest about the limitations—they couldn't customize meals since most are pre-mixed—but we appreciated their transparency and care. We ordered the Sinigang na Beef Short Ribs in Watermelon and Crispy Fried Plapla with Buro. The sinigang was a standout—the beef was incredibly tender, and the watermelon gave the broth a semi-sweet twist that the kids genuinely enjoyed. The medium bowl was just right for 3–4 people. The plapla was decent. The buro wasn’t as flavorful as we expected, but it was still nice to reconnect with a Bulacan classic. Halfway through lunch, the manager approached our table to check in—a gesture we welcomed. I also mentioned how great it would be to include allergy-friendly indicators on the menu for families like ours. They received the suggestion graciously. The kids cooled off with Mango and Watermelon shakes, and the space was clean with a laid-back ambiance. Service was prompt and reasonable. There’s a wide range of traditional Filipino dishes with creative twists still left to try, and we’re definitely coming back for more.
